Unique art|80 x 60 cm

This is from 2011, when my wife traveled around Khovsgol and took this amazing photo. It was in the end of september, so there was more colours in the trees. It was taken in the evening, just after rain, so the clouds were hanging on the mountains and it looked very beautiful. Khovsgol is one of the cleanest lakes in the world. Around the lake the nature is extremely beautiful. You can see high mountains and lush forrests. When painting, I noticed a small light in one of the windows of the white house to the right. It could just be the flash reflecting or some dust on the lense.. or maybe it could be something very different, only limited by your imagination.

My name is Jacob Brandt-Møller.

I've always been drawing and painting, but around 2004 I desided to do something about it and enrolled in my first course in an art school. Since then, I've been to numerous summer-courses in different art schools and there I tried to experiment with different expressions.

When you browse through my gallery on this website, you can follow my progress through the years. My more expressionistic period, a surrealist period and lately my more naturalistic period, where I've desided to paint mainly Mongolian inspired landscape and culture paintings.

Love it. Hate it.
