Leaves on Pond

A forest or garden pond towards the middle of Fall, when the leaves are most colourful. A strong wind has just come through and blown the leaves onto the surface of the water. I love the bright colours of this piece and that it was done simply and quickly which makes it look very fresh and lively.Had started out as another painting which I was not happy with.
