I love line art, you can get lost into the web of lines and discover hidden shapes as you fall into the void.
These are brand new styles that I am exploring.
Illustrating in NYC for over 20 years, Eric Rosner has a unique style that recaptures a classic period of Manhattan and Los Angeles and presents it for a new participating audience. Ink marker is used to create stunning iconic structures from a golden era. This process is combined with digital enhancements that complete a singular vision to showcase New York City and Los Angeles’s most eloquent inhabitants. His canvas prints grab the attention of the on-looker as an awe inspiring tribute to a golden age with a modern twist for today.
"I get lost in the moment when a piece comes to life. You find yourself thinking of all the people who have graced the these grand Metropolises and these buildings have housed them all. Whether it was epic business transaction, stunning scientific discoveries or grand entertainment showcasing, the city of New York has a unique tale of histories. With my artwork, I hope you can conjure a stunning time period over a century ago when the imagination ran wild and magnificent structures soared to the sky."
I have a passion for creating, I simply love to illustrate the world around me. My life has been an exciting journey. I worked at MTV and Nickelodeon for a few decades. It was like a wacky Andy Warhol factory, interesting projects, crazy characters and lucky to learn valuable skills. I started illustrating back in college during study periods, I guess pre-Med just wasn't my thing. I found simply pleasure illustrating for hours. I took a long break from illustrating and focused on my love of computers. I did all drawing on the computer but after a few years of that I combined my illustrating with computer technology and the match was perfect. Years went by and I would practice illustrating everyday, until I finally found a unique style and voice.
My work has been sold in CB2, BoConcept, FAB.com and the MoMA Design Store and I have sold my art around the World! The most thrilling part of the journey is how folks enjoy my work. It's a dream to be able do what you love and have the community of the World enjoy it. Thank you for your support.
