The artist Okuda San Miguel paints colourful mural within converted church's indoor skate park

Artistic Skate Park!

A 100-Year-Old historic church in the spanish municipality of llanera has been transformed into an artistic indoor Skate Park.

The church was originally designed by Asturian architect Manuel del Busto in 1912, it was abandoned for years. Luckily, a group of enterprising individuals lead by a collective called the ‘Church Brigade,’ salvaged and turned it into a public skate park dubbed Kaos Temple.

At the start of december 2015, the artist Okuda San Miguel began his work on a monumental, colourful mural which now canvasses la iglesia skate’s vaulted ceilings, and walls. His unique brand of colourful geometric figures. Nearly every flat interior surface is covered with a rainbow of colours, illuminated from every side by tall windows, making this a truly special place to skate.
