Now recently retired from Human Services I can now purse art full time. I was born and lived in Queens, NY. for most of my life. I currently reside in Brooklyn. The arts have always been a part of my life but was never fully able to take that leap of faith. Visual art is a tactile expression of what's within your soul. So, I guess that is why most art teachers say paint what you feel. When I wanted to become a dancer I spent 12 hours a day practicing and learning technique and style. That led to 2 nights as the lead in an Off Off Broadway Play. But I knew I needed a nine to five. I hung up my dance shoes many years later and I still wanted to have an outlet in the arts. So, I now find and open door within visual arts.
