It's all in the stories
When Be My Eyes asked us to help create a bespoke art wall at their office, we immidiately knew that we had to hone in on their amazing stories as they are at the core of the business. For this case, we teamed up Aarhus based artist Iris Bakker to visualize all the stories.
The process started out by inviting all of the employees of Be My Eyes to a workshop, where they could share their favorite stories of how the app had helped blind and low-vision people in different situations. Iris listened eagerly as the employees shared their stories, and took away a long list of amazing and moving stories.
Workshop with the employees at Be My Eyes
From beginning to final installation
Over the next few days, Iris was hard at work at her studio, drawing out all the stories on 72 separate wooden frames. Each of the 72 frames had to contain a specific story that was shared by the employees. When all the frames were finished Iris and the Artboost team installed the art wall at the office and were there the next morning to surprise the team when they came into the office.
“It was such a pleasure to work with Artboost. The workshop and outcome was beyond what we hoped for. It's a pleasure to show guests our journey through the story wall” - Christian Erfurt, CEO Be My Eyes

Motivation and branding in one
The art wall now serves as the first point of contact for the company when inviting new guests to the office, but it’s also a daily reminder to all the employees of how important their work is, which helps boost morale at the office.
“By involving the employees in outfitting their own office space, we hope to create more ownership to the office itself. At the same time, studies show that employees who play an active part in outfitting the office space become happier overall, more productive and it even lowers sick days” - Anders Cederholm, Co-Founder Artboost
