Mixed Media

Mixed Media is a visual art form that combines different media or materials in a single art work. It is often associated with collage or assemblage and first appeared in 1912. It follows the idea that art can be made out of anything, here, a combination of medias such as ink, watercolour, acrylic, etc. It can take a lot of different forms and offers a vast variety of pieces. Putting ink on top of watercolour gives a different result than watercolour on top of ink, which leaves the artist with endless possibilities and a lot of fun mixing and creating.
