'Aún Respira', is a painting where I wanted to portray the reality we live in Venezuela, a country going through a economic, social and spiritual crisis, under the administration of a political party that identifies with the color red.
In the painting there is a woman who barely can pull her face out of a suffocating tide, as an anology of my everyday life in Caracas. But everything is not lost, while she breaths, she would be able to emerge. We can still reborn from this collapse, that is my feeling of hope.
Technique: Acrylic on canvas.
Original price: It was auctioned in Caracas, Venezuela.
