Over the last decade Lykke has established herself as one of the most talented portrait painters on the Danish art scene.
Her portraits are striking, instinctive and driven by a deep understanding of the persons that she portrays, resulting in extraordinary, strong stories told in a beautiful visual language.
In her play with the personality, the portrait persons often get animal characteristics.
Her works have been exhibited a various solo and group exhibitions in Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Spain.
In 2011 she was selected as one of the 40 finalists among 3.000 nordic artists in the prestigious Brewer J.C. Jacobsen's Portrait Award on the Museum of National History in Denmark.
