Born in the UK in 1952, Steve is a creative polymath who lives and works in a funky loft in NW London, where he is also an AirBnb Super-host.
He dropped-out of The West Of England College Of Art in 1970 to join his first band, then moved from Bristol to London in 1973, where he was soon signed to RCA records. His first album 'Messages' came out in 1974.
He went on to be a pop star (with Pilot) and a rock star (with Hawkwind) then landed his second major record deal, with Atco records, in NYC in 1979. 'Fresh Blood' reached #3 in the US airtime charts in 1980.
He's also a photographer, painter and writer and has been a journalist, club promoter and party organizer.
He has five albums on Spotify/iTunes etc, and his new double album will be released in 2019.
The USP of his vibrant, intricate and delicate digital artworks is that they're created entirely on his iPhone - 'Phinger Paintings' and mashups and mixtures thereof - using various apps.
