Jacob Green
Jacob Green is from East Devon in the UK. He graduated from Oxford University in 2007. He now creates landscape art with multiple medias including sand, acrylic paints and oil paints and particularly with acrylic pour painting with silicone.
His latest works includes a combination of techniques that have been compared to Annemarie Ridderhof's acrylic pouring with Bob Ross' love of landscape.
Always trying to use recycled or upcycled materials for packaging and postage, he collects used cardboard to make boxes and saves bubble wrap from items purchased. He does not use single use plastic wherever possible, by recycling paint squeeze bottles for pouring and washes out all his flip cups to use again.
Inspired by music and often naming the paintings after one of the songs he was listening to at the time of its creation, Jacob is a keen musician drawing inspiration from old rock n roll and new folk music.
