Ruth Crone Foster created the artwork for the acoustic panels at restaurant NO16. She started the process by choosing colors and then mixing paint by hand to get an authentic handmade look. Ruth wanted to create an artwork to support the core identity of the restaurant. Handmade and authentic.

The technique she used for creating this pattern is where she pours the different colors into a container one at a time, and after that, she flips the container onto a large canvas. When Ruth has given the paint time to fall to the canvas, she lifts and drags the container in various patterns. Leaving a very nature-like, organic abstraction.

The original painting was photographed and printed directly on acoustic panels.
