In this decoration project Ruth Crone Foster has worked with the architectural shadows and created a piece of artwork with perspective for Salling Rooftop.
Bespoke murals at Salling Rooftop by Ruth Crone Foster
Ruth wanted to connect the city horizon and the view from the surroundings to the wall and work with it while visualizing a mood and feeling. She wants those who look at the artwork to get a sense of perspective and spaciousness, ease and depth. In the same way, as if they looked over the city’s roofs.

Ruth’s process started with sketching perspectives by hand. Very linear, light and spacious shapes drawing you towards the artwork.

The different images within the artwork are chosen because they can inspire to look more into the depth of the work. A bit like a lot of small boxes that you can open and look into.
